Yes the if you want your word document to be in pdf, you can do it easily without installing any software.. just go to http://www.printinpdf.com/. I have converted my resume which is in word to pdf by using this sites service. Although some spacing enlargement is there in the converted pdf but I have then adjusted it in word document until I got a perfect layout in pdf. This service is very nice and free :)
